Don’t settle for the routine “get down on one knee” trope unless it’s a tradition you both value. Think outside the box. Perhaps it could involve a scavenger hunt that leads to the surprise, or integrating something they love, like a flash mob, a cute pet carrying the ring, or even a proposal during a hobby you both share.

I do recommend scheduling a walkthrough with your photographer, and going over all of the details a couple days before.
