Mini sessions are a fun, quick, and stress-free way to capture beautiful family memories—without the time commitment of a full session! If you’re looking for spring family photos in the North Dallas area, my seasonal mini sessions are the perfect option. Whether it’s a gorgeous wildflower mini session in Richardson or a sunflower mini session near McKinney, these short and sweet sessions are designed for families who want stunning, high-quality images in a relaxed setting.

I know you may have some questions before booking, so I’ve rounded up the most frequently asked questions about my mini sessions. Let’s dive in!

1. What’s included in a mini session?

Each mini session includes a 15-20 minute session at a set location on a specific date. You’ll receive 10 fully edited images, with the option to purchase additional images. While my client closet isn’t included in mini sessions, I provide a seasonal style guide and expert styling tips to help you feel confident and camera-ready.

2. How often do you offer mini sessions?

I offer seasonal mini sessions around Mckinney and the surrounding area throughout the year. Popular sessions include spring wildflower minis, fall family mini sessions, and holiday-themed mini sessions. Early booking starts in July for fall and holiday minis – if you don’t want to miss these I highly recommend signing up for my email list!

3. How do I book a mini session?

Booking is super easy! Just head over to my booking site to check availability and reserve your spot. Once booked, you’ll receive all the details on what to expect and how to prepare for your session.

4. Can extended family join a mini session?

Mini sessions are for immediate family only, which means parents and their children. If you’re looking for an extended family photography session, I recommend booking a full session so we have enough time to capture everyone. Please fill out my contact form on my website to inquire.

5. What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

Texas weather can be a little unpredictable, but I always have a plan! If the forecast calls for rain or extreme conditions, I may have a backup date available, depending on the location and type of session. If rescheduling isn’t possible, we’ll work together to find the best solution.

6. When will I receive my images?

Your fully edited mini session gallery will be delivered within 2-3 weeks. While I don’t offer sneak peeks, I promise the final images will be worth the wait! You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can select your favorite images and purchase additional prints or products.

7. Can I choose my images?

Yes! You’ll get to pick your 10 favorite images from your online gallery, and if you fall in love with more, you’ll have the option to purchase extra digitals, prints, or albums.
